Just spoke, again with Owner: Rod Ashby
He is going to get more info, elevations etc.

Apparently, He owns the site, and is selling it. Buyer wants to do Cabnitry and Spray booth in eastern building.

I have annotated the layout.

The space between the east and west buildings is partially covered.
I have had him go back to FM and Building Dept. to determine more info on what City may require. i.e. does the WHOLE building need to be sprink'ed?
What size spray booth? 
Grid or hard-lid or open to deck?
Elevations? Power?

Wants a Permit Set, does not need 3rd party review.
 
You are putting in a cabinetry manufacturing shop, with Spray booth and Building and Fire Code
along with Local Jurisdiction Codes, require an adequate water supply to supply a wet suppression system with wet suppression and spray booth suppression.

FM Cory said your wife spoke with him this morning.
Design, Submit to AHJ and Permit issued for suppression before install. Required.
 
We can do that, if you so choose.  
You will also need underground (water supply flow calculations done by us if so desire)
 
Sprinkle riser will also need monitoring for flow, by a remote Central Station. (We do that also.)

Building is approx 17,000 SF. part that is in drawing for cabinet shop is 1,7 SF
